mBoxApr 20, 02:30 PMThe Motion developers are still employed and working on something to be released soon.Even though I live and breath AE, I would still like to see Apple further the Motion/Shake soft :) And if its anything like the new Compound Clips and Timeline...well thatll be enticing ;)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO c_ahmad79
NT1440Apr 30, 02:32 AMDid anyone notice on the very beginning of the show "HD brought to you by Windows 7" ? I know this is probably coincidence, but its still not cool to do spoof like this if Microsoft is a sponsors. I kinda lost respect for the guy now, I don't know. Peace may be funny, but its still very distasteful to do 8 and a half minute clip, which is almost half of the show if Microsoft is a new sponsor. I mean come on.

You base integrity on if they bend to their sponsors will?
Advance Happy Diwali Scraps,
0815Apr 4, 09:34 AMAnd I already started to miss the Verizon iPhone rumors ... good that this profess all the "Verizon iPhone is fail" sayers wrong, now we just have to wait for the numbers when they get a 'new' iPhone instead of a 'soon to be replaced' phone.
advance birthday wishes
daver11Aug 6, 12:42 AM...unlike like traditional rice wines such as sake...
Actually, sake is brewed like beer, not fermented like wine. It does drink like a wine, though. Thus the confusion.
Sister eCard irthday wishes
steadysignalApr 19, 02:09 PMI can't wait for it to arrive in the mail!

maclaptopApr 12, 07:59 AM"It does not use the accelerometers and relies only on the front camera."
Who cares, its still a cheap gimmick.

Steelers7510Apr 12, 07:50 AMI could have told you this WEEKS ago. One of the dumbest rumors I have heard in a while... Hopefully this put's this stupid rumor to rest.

sammichMar 2, 05:15 AMI don't care if it's hard to read most of the stuff on the desktop. The pic is just nice to look at :) http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper_beta/details/2281/lincoln/'s_revenge.html
Anne has certainly cropped up on my radar as of the last few days too.
Also, ignore the song Bowtie says is playing. I'm not listening to that.
Happy Birthday In Advance
macaddict3Apr 28, 09:49 AMYea I had the same problem as well, I really loved the 11 macbook air but than after awhile I switched back to the 13 inch macbook air b/c my neck cant handle it anymore and I feel really clastrophobic. It hurts real bad so I dont think I will be going back to the 11 inch any sooner.
Why not send a Greetings on
bentomsMar 8, 07:18 AMjust got 4GB for my late 2008 macbook pro..

FlowbeeAug 17, 10:59 PMUntil they come out with an iPod with a widescreen display I don't see the point.
Because it's really easy to connect an iPod to your TV and watch your videos that way. There are also several peripherals (http://podophile.com/2006/07/26/memorex-announces-iflip-video-player-for-ipod/) coming out soon that add a larger wide screen to the iPod. And don't forget watching videos on your MacBook or MacBook pro.
advance birthday wishes
MikeELLApr 11, 10:21 AMCool. Thanks for contributing something insightful and interesting, MikeELL (unlike some folks--like me).
Heh. Cheers, mate.
I figure if I had as much R&D funding as NASA (perhaps more), these are the kind of things I'd be looking at.
Off topic, but I wonder if these alloys have the potential to be strong enough to build a space elevator. They're currently at about 1.7GPa, which is about the level of high-tensile steel. 62GPa is required for the space elevator (carbon nanotubes have theoretical potentials of 200+ GPa - but no one can get them more than a few centimetres long so far).

suneohairMar 28, 02:26 PMIt's a rather big of, though. Sure there seemed to be a lot of reports early on... but the system has been out for over a year now, and the hardware being sold now isn't the same as it was at launch.
Personally, I haven't heard much about system failures beyond the launch systems. It's unlikely more of launch systems failed then didn't. I have a launch system myself, and the majority of 360 owners have not had problems.
I would disagree, nearly half of the people in my friends list have been through at least 2 boxes, some as many as 4 and 5.
A lot of them I met online, and so it is mixed throughout the country. These things have issues.
Besides it is frickin loud and hot. The drive is loud and screws up discs randomly. There have been quite a few red ring of death posts and articles around the net even within the last few months. The problems are still there.

Greetings, everyone images
agreensterSep 12, 04:06 PMSeems like the only way to be an individual nowadays is to not have ANY piercings or tattoos. Isnt it kind of out of style when computer geeks are all about it?
My irthday greeting card
MattyMacAug 17, 05:09 PMThat's bumped up! Steve is most likely infuriated!
advance birthday wishes greetings. Birthday Wishes Scraps. Birthday Wishes Scraps.
narcoSep 12, 11:13 AMI used to love the live broadcasts, I just hope it's nothing like the regular streams have been over the past couple years. As soon as the video is released, it's slow, chops up and pauses constantly. A solid stream will be nice.
Fishes,

MultimediaNov 9, 11:35 PMI have this gut feeling Apple is holding back on features not implemented yet on purpose.Just like they held back on OS X running on Intel.
If Apple were to release some of those "secret" features to developers now Microsoft would have it too and possibly add similar features at the last minute.
I also believe Apple and Microsoft are working together on some stuff.
Vista Jan 30th
Leopard shown at MWSF and released in March.
Rosetta won't be visible on Intel machines in March.I agree. But I don't understand the last sentence. Would you please elaborate on what you mean by "won't be visible on Intel machines in March"? You mean new machines released then or the '06 crop vis-a-vis ultra fast Rosetta inside Leopard? Or something else?
spob15Apr 22, 01:15 PMMagazines do not sell advertising to cover the costs of printing. They make the MAJORITY of their money through advertising. You'll often see mag subscriptions for really cheap online because they want to get the mags in as many hands as possible so they can brag to publishers about readership and charge more for ads.
I would guess the high price for iPad apps as more to do with the development costs than anything else.
Agree with some of what you said...I have a newspaper subscription that I cancelled except for weekend delivery (wife is a coupon queen)...they called a week later and said we will send you the paper all week for free just the cost of your weekend rate. This is surely to boost distribution numbers. On the otherhand development costs should be capitalized and the finance behind generating an app would be nominal. Right price would offset those costs quickly. They are just trying to get the transaction customer. If your flight is delayed and you decide to buy a magazine, you buy the appissue...
ChristianJapanApr 21, 06:23 PMExcept its not very "green" to shuttle data all over the place because you no longer have a local copy. Think of the terabyes and terabytes of streaming bandwidth required for everyone to listen to the latest hit song via the cloud.
True, when streaming would be only way. On my wish list is also a transparent access via iDisk. That would allow you to keep the files stores with Apples cloud (remote filesystem) but still control via local iTunes.
Or: a new FW will allow to decide to pull a local copy on a (registered) device for offline consumption.
I hope SJ learned that we normal people have to deal with Telecom provider unable to deliver on Mobile IT dreams (to realisitic costs and usability)
zweigandOct 13, 11:12 AMThere's no doubt that Vista will be first - on track for November release....
Unfortunately, the consumer release has to wait until after the Saturnalia purchasing orgy - so some will ignore the millions of copies running at businesses and claim that Vista ships sometime in January.
If you think major businesses are going to leap out and upgrade to Vista in November you are sadly mistaken. Some small businesses, maybe, if they have the time to mess around with the upgrades.
I also heard that the site licensing can't be done with Vista without having a Longhorn Server set up ...dunno if that is true, but it would be yet another reason businesses aren't going to adopt.
jacobo007Oct 4, 10:04 PMI also believe the optical drive is pretty much dead...I haven't used one for about 2 or 3 years, all the software/music/etc. i buy is downloaded directly to de hard drive, and stored/backed up in other hdd, usb, sd, etc.
Apple already took the first step with the Macbook Air and provided solutions for the lack of the optical drive, it is obvious to think that in the very near future computers will be opticaldriveless to make room for other stuff in their guts and that can only be good
