Piedras de vesicula
BakedBeansNov 1, 07:33 AMI really liked this one. I've tried many other apps that gather the Album Cover art for iTunes songs/albums but this is the best by far.
It's called Clutter (http://www.sprote.com/clutter/).
Launch Clutter when you have iTunes open. As a song is playing, Clutter automatically looks up the album art. Once found, under the File menu select copy to iTunes and BAM, it's there for the WhOLE album. Sweet.
One note. If it doesn't find the art, just go under the File menu and choose "Find cover in Amazon". Just type in different variations of the artist or song and i'm sure it'll pop up.
Enjoy,
~e
i have to say that is a top app.... thats why i started this thread... that type of app i would never have known about...cheers... just going through amigomacs now...

Danke sehr. Thanks for the time and effort to get back to me with a response that looks at things from a 'real world' perspective. Your points are issues which I have not even considered before.
Everybody else -
Thank you kindly for taking the time to get back to me. All points noted and considered.
Since doing a little more research into it and taking the comments on this forum into account I have changed my opinion on whether or not macs should form part of our IT infrastructure. It would seem that the real world problems of planning for the future, ensuring user productivity and product support, not to mention the capital outlay issues are going to trump any warm fuzzy feelings that I may get from working with my mac at home. Being an engineering firm, the majority of our specialist software is, for the foreseeable future, going to be written for Windows only.
Most importantly then, the positive user experience I have at home will almost certainly not carry over to the workplace and will more than likely only generate further frustration for other non-mac users. I currently have enough trouble simply trying to ensure compatibility between Excel '07 files and Excel '03. Adding Excel for Mac files into the mix will no doubt simply introduce another layer of complexity which is certainly not beneficial. This is indicative of many of the 'small' problems that are typically faced every day in the office, again, no thank you to having any more of those.
While I wish the warm fuzzy feeling I get from using my mac at home could be translated into my working day experience, the fact of the matter at the moment is that facilitating this is just not practical or feasible and in a mixed PC / MAC environment not very likely to happen.
The fanboy in me hopes that someday this will get sorted out, but I am not going to hold my breath.

Thanks for the reality check, and I could not agree more with your take with respect to the the ways of the world and the importance of the real world concerns of IT people. IT is a department that I have never worked in, hence me posting on this forum to get some views on the topic at hand.
I spend all day writing reports, specifications, data sheets, e-mails to clients and suppliers etc. All of which require dotting every I and crossing every T from a grammar point of view. I am not going to waste my time ensuring my grammar is perfect on a forum post... seriously bru - not helpful at all.

Phil Schiller, Steve Jobs, and Scott Forstall at iOS 4 introduction (Source: CNET (http://news.cnet.com/8301-30252_3-20002084-246.html))
Earlier today, All Things Digital conducted a telephone interview with Steve Jobs and other Apple senior executives, covering the location tracking controversy (http://www.macrumors.com/2011/04/27/steve-jobs-interviewed-on-location-tracking-issues/) and white iPhone 4 delays (http://www.macrumors.com/2011/04/27/steve-jobs-and-phil-schiller-on-white-iphone-4-delays/). All Things Digital has now followed with a full, edited transcript (http://mobilized.allthingsd.com/20110427/qa-jobs-and-apple-execs-on-tracking-down-the-facts-about-iphones-and-location/) of the portion of the interview covering the location tracking issue.
In the full interview, Jobs discusses why it took Apple nearly a week to respond to the issue, noting that the company needed to take the time to investigate the situation and figure out how best to relate the information to the public."We're an engineering-driven company," Jobs said in a telephone interview Wednesday. "When people accuse us of things, the first thing we want to do is find out the truth. That took a certain amount of time to track all of these things down. And the accusations were coming day by day. By the time we had figured this all out, it took a few days. Then writing it up and trying to make it intelligible when this is a very high-tech topic took a few days. And here we are less than a week later."Most of the other points of the interview were covered in the earlier highlight piece, but the full transcript also includes new details about how the location database works and about Apple's views on user control over location services.
When pressed on what services Apple might be developing using location information, Jobs referred only to the potential traffic service (http://www.macrumors.com/2011/04/27/apple-hints-at-future-turn-by-turn-gps-directions-with-traffic-for-iphone/) disclosed in the official Q&A, declining to expand on that with additional information or possibilities.

ownerofmac&ipodJan 9, 03:30 PMI think what most people are missing is that we've seen the future of the iPod with the iPhone. Look for a revamp of the iPod by the end of the year or early next. Same size but with the features of the iPhone but without the iPhone stuff. The new iPod interface is slick and Apple's not going to limit it to just the iPhone. The rest of us who are locked into contracts with Verizon and Sprint, or don't want an all-in-one deal still want the cool features of the new iPhone. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a revamp of the enitre line. iPhone, iPDA(no phone but PDA like features), iPod, iTablet, etc. all based on this new technology.
It's too cool to think it will stay only on the iPhone. That's what I think anyway.

Doctor QNov 11, 02:21 PMI wanted an app that would show me the current month and following month's calendars in a small window, for when I'm planning the next couple of week's activities. I found it as CalendarCenter (http://www.macdev.ca/macos/Freeware.html) from MacDev.ca. It's not elegant but it does just the one trick I wanted. Freeware. versiontracker page (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/12219).

marksmanMar 27, 09:42 PMWow, a lot of unethical people on here. This is totally a scam, and the seller relied on the buyer assuming he was a normal upstanding human being who was selling a legitimate product. There is no way that is right, ethical, or moral. The seller deserves to be jailed.
Yeah people here are crazy. Although given how keen so many people here on committing various crimes without and regret or concern, it is not surprising.

illy123Dec 8, 05:14 AMHere's my current set-up. I'm looking for a good xmas Mail icon and maybe one for Safari and FF. I know what I'd like, but I'm not a Photoshop guy at all. Also, the Mail icon looks like it's sitting on the dock in an odd manner. Kind of bugging me, but I can't find a different, Christmas-y one.
I love your desktop! Any chance you could give me a link for the icons you have (dock and the hard-drive icon which is awesome)?
Thanks!
Edit:
The wallpaper is great too lol :D

mcrainMar 3, 08:44 AM@fivepoint- How about showing a little respect for the viewers of this thread and use TIMG tags on your images?
I see you still haven't had the common decency to TIMG tag your charts. As for debate with you? Why bother, it's the same thing every day with you. You just copy and paste the same things.
What is a TIMG tag, and how do you do it? Feel free to PM me if you don't want to derail this trainwreck of a thread.
gnasher729Mar 28, 12:05 PMThis is really funny. Hello, I would like to introduce myself. I'm the infamous seller! :) How are you guys. It's funny that most people here are laughing about the stupidity of others like myself.
But anyway, this is in no way illegal. I would know, being a student of law. In addition, eBay AND PayPal have sided with me on this matter MULTIPLE times. The only time PayPal sided with the buyer was when they claimed they never got it and I had no shipping proof. The item is accurately described, end of story. Stop crying about it and be more responsible.
Just an ending note, I've made over $2,000 doing this before and used it to buy two amazing Les Pauls. ;)
You are not a student of law. Or if you are, you are the most stupid student of law in existence. What you have been doing is fraud, plain and simple. The definition of fraud is: To make someone else believe something that is not true, and to make them hand over their property because of this wrong believe. You made someone believe that they were bidding for an iPhone and to hand over money, when this was not true. Fraud.
Which means if anyone follows through with criminal action against you, your dream of ever being a lawyer is over. Good strategy giving up a lucrative career for $2,000 in scammed monies.
WayfarerDec 7, 03:14 PMWhat is the easiest way to Jailbreak a iPod Touch 2g running iOS 4.1?
Sorry if this has been posted before, but I've been searching the internet for a while now without any reliable leads. Any help would be greated appreciated.
